One of the Battle of Britain's stalwart pilots, the late Bobby Oxspring was a popular fighter pilot and Spitfire exponent. Robert's action-packed print shows Bobby Oxspring bringing down an Me109 in a duel at 30,000 feet during the battle of Britain - the Luftwaffe pilot having just bailed out. After the war Oxspring and the German pilot met and became firm friends.
